DISASTER ALERT CODES 

Heave you heard about this? Some may yes, and some may not. Accidently, I found about these codes from Willam Beaumont Hospital.

CODE WHITE : Severe weather condition watch is in effect for the immediate area. Close blinds. 

CODE BLUE : Severe weather condition warning is in effect for the immediate area. Move patients from windows. Visitors are advised to remain inside. 

CODE YELLOW : A disaster has occurred. Magnitude unknown. Please return to your work station. Follow department disaster plan. 

CODE ORANGE : A hazardous materials incident has occurred. Magnitude unknown. Please return to your work station. Follow department disaster plan.

CODE RED : A disaster has occurred and there will be incoming casualties. Please return to your work station. Follow department disaster plan.

CODE KINDER : (Infant Abduction) Be aware of any suspicious persons in your work area. 

CODE GREEN : All clear. Resume all duties.  

DR. FIRESTONE : Follow department Fire and Evacuation plan.
